12 months Victorian Spinster Stories
The Withheld Letters is a monthly snail-mail subscription delivering an original, continuing Victorian-era story—told entirely through private letters.
Each month, you will receive a carefully curated packet by post: letter written in the voice of a late-1800's-century spinster woman, accompanied by period-inspired paper, postcards, and subtle ephemera. The story unfolds slowly, through observation rather than confession, revealing a life shaped by restraint, longing, secrecy, and moral tension.
These letters are not summaries, excerpts, or replicas.
They are original literary correspondence—written as though never meant to be read, and addressed only to a trusted confidante.
There is no modern language.
No overt narration.
No resolutions offered in haste.
You are invited to read as one would have read in another century: attentively, privately, and over time.
